Children with ASD may not be willing to receive dental care. Parents of children with ASD may be fearful or nervous and not start dental care early.\u00a0\u00a0 <strong>Our goal is to teach dental hygiene and orient children to a dental office to alleviate fears and promote dental care.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>FREE VISIT (may come to as many sessions as you wish)<\/li>\n<li>Goal is to alleviate fears of the unknown<\/li>\n<li>Repetition and frequent visits prepare children for dental visits<\/li>\n<li>Review of diet<\/li>\n<li>Review oral hygiene tips for home\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Appointments required for the program in our Toms River location.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dr. Elisa Valezquez is a board certified pediatric dentist. She is on staff at Children&#8217;s Specialized Hospital and holds a sedation permit. Dr. Elisa has worked with thousands of children with special needs.
