Join POAC and the Lacey Elks for an autism-friendly party including cool animals, crafts, refreshments and more. Zoo Jersey is a fun and interactive wildlife experience that brings you up close and personal with some amazing creatures you don’t often get to see even at most zoos! The show consists of exploring some fun and interesting behaviors and demonstrations from unique creatures that specialize in being animal ambassadors! From soft chinchillas to silky snakes we’ll explore some fun animals in a safe and nurturing environment. We will also be having animal themed crafts, face painting, and refreshments.
Get Your School Involved
POAC makes it so easy for you to raise awareness and help children with autism. We provide everything you need and help you to promote your event. Students will be helping others while earning community service hours and learning about autism. New Jersey has the largest population of people with autism in the entire country. In our state the rate is 1 in 35. That means that the money you raise will help people right in your own school and community.
