Festival of Trees Gala

POAC is participating in the Annual Festival of Trees sponsored by Toms River Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks #1875. It’s a great evening of Holiday Fun and a great opportunity to support children with autism, their families, and the autism community. Here’s how it works: Visit the Toms River Elks Lodge any time between November 29th and December 15th from 11:00am to 11:00pm Monday to Friday and cast your vote for the POAC tree by making a donation. Or you can make a donation right online. All donations will help us reach our goal and the tree that raises the most money, gets an additional donation for their organization. Then on December 15th, join us at the Elks Lodge from 5:00 to 9:00pm for the big Gala. There will be live entertainment, holiday cheer, and delicious refreshments including an indoor S’mores and gourmet hot chocolate bar. No registration needed. Just put it on your calendar and join us!

POAC makes it so easy for you to raise awareness and help children with autism. We provide everything you need and help you to promote your event. Students will be helping others while earning community service hours and learning about autism. New Jersey has the largest population of people with autism in the entire country. In our state the rate is 1 in 35. That means that the money you raise will help people right in your own school and community.
