POAC’s Annual Autism Family Surf Day
Event has passed
This surfing event is for individuals with autism and their immediate families. We will have lots of volunteers, refreshments, and fun with surfing. A special thank you to everyone at Sea of Change Autism Surf Outreach and Friends of Island Beach State Park for all their help in making this a great day for those with ASD. Siblings are welcome at this event. Free to current POAC members, $10 per surfer for nonmembers. POAC walk team captains who earned a walk tee shirt and current POAC elite members get early registration.
Get Your School Involved
POAC makes it so easy for you to raise awareness and help children with autism. We provide everything you need and help you to promote your event. Students will be helping others while earning community service hours and learning about autism. New Jersey has the largest population of people with autism in the entire country. In our state the rate is 1 in 35. That means that the money you raise will help people right in your own school and community.
