This will not be a discussion about whether you should or shouldn’t inform your child, nor a specific age “when” you should inform your child. Rather, this is an opportunity to learn how to recognize the signs when your child may be ready to have the conversation and how to have it.
This workshop covers:
- The specific steps used to talk to your child about their diagnosis
- Sharing the diagnosis with siblings and other family members
- Resources to assist in this process
