Overview of Autism for Parents of Newly Diagnosed Children

A Workshop for Parents of Children with Autism This workshop is for parents whose children have been recently diagnosed within the autism spectrum.   It covers the signs and symptoms of autism, treatment options, educational issues, and real life coping strategies. It is intended to help parents of newly diagnosed children understand autism, what to potentially expect from the condition, and how to start advocating for their children as early as possible. It is presented by professionals in the field who are also parents of young adults with autism.  Please note that this workshop is for parents only.
